BelPort Building & Remodeling, LLC was built from hands-on experience, not just managing projects, but working in the field and learning how homes actually come together.

Owner and Founder Dmitry Mazheika started in construction after arriving in the United States in 2003. He worked in roofing, framing, and subcontracting before earning his Construction Supervisor License in 2006. Over time, he built a deep understanding of how projects succeed and where they tend to go wrong.

That background still shapes how BelPort operates today.

A big part of the work happens before construction ever begins. Plans are reviewed carefully, issues are identified early, and decisions are made before they become expensive problems. The projects that go well are the ones that are planned well.

From large-scale remodels and additions to custom homes and restorations across Cape Cod, the focus stays consistent. Clear planning, direct communication, and disciplined execution.

2003–2006

Learning the Trade

Dmitry began working in construction shortly after arriving in the U.S. He started in roofing and moved into framing and subcontracting. This is where he developed a strong foundation in how structures are built and how job sites actually operate.

2004

Building Independently

Dmitry started his own business in 2004, taking on residential
remodeling and construction projects across Cape Cod.

2009

BelPort Is Born

In 2009, Dmitry created the BelPort name and established BelPort
Building & Remodeling, LLC — formalizing five years of independent
work into the company that operates today.

2019–Present

Expanding Capability

Over time, BelPort has taken on more complex projects, including large-scale remodels, additions, and custom homes. Along the way, the company has refined its internal systems and strengthened its network of trade partners.

The focus has not changed. Only the scale has.

About Dmitry Mazheika

Owner / Founder / General Manager

Dmitry founded BelPort with a straightforward goal. Build homes and spaces the right way, with proper planning, clear communication, and attention to detail from start to finish.

With more than 20 years of experience across roofing, framing, remodeling, and general contracting, he brings practical, field-tested knowledge to every project. He is known for catching issues early, especially the kinds of problems that look fine on paper but do not work in real life.

His approach is simple.

Understand the client’s goals.
Spend the time up front to plan properly.
Make sure decisions are made before construction begins.

Because in his experience, the time spent planning on the front end pays back during construction.

Clients often describe him as detail-oriented. Someone who notices the small things and holds the entire project to that standard.

At the end of the day, the goal is for clients to feel informed and confident throughout the process. Not guessing what is happening or what comes next.

1 | Initial Consultation & Project Evaluation

We begin with a focused conversation to understand your goals, your property, and your level of investment. This may include a site visit to evaluate existing conditions, zoning considerations, and structural factors that will influence the project. During this phase, we listen carefully, outline realistic budget ranges, and determine whether we are the right fit for one another. The outcome is clarity on scope, expectations, and next steps.

2 | Pre-Construction Planning & Design

Once aligned, we move into structured pre-construction planning. This includes design development, budgeting, feasibility analysis, and coordination with engineers, architects, or specialty consultants as needed. We refine drawings, selections, and specifications while keeping cost and constructability in focus. By the end of this phase, you have a well-defined plan, documented scope, and a clear path into construction.

3 | Construction & Project Management

With documentation and agreements in place, construction begins under disciplined project management. We coordinate trades, maintain quality control, manage schedules, and communicate consistently throughout the build. You can expect organized execution, transparent updates, and careful oversight from start to finish. The result is a completed home or renovation built to perform and built to last.
